Description
Oakland, CA: Pro Arts announces Juried Annual 2011, Selections by Paola Santoscoy, an independent curator based in Denver, Colorado. The exhibition is on view November 23, 2010 – January 14, 2011. An Artists’ Reception is scheduled on Friday, December 3, 6 – 8 pm and an Artist Talk is scheduled Tuesday, January 11, 6 pm. Exhibition events are free and open to the public.Paola Santoscoy recently served as Lead Curator for the Biennial of the Americas, Denver, CO. She has worked closely with Mexico City’s cutting edge institutions and has developed exhibition projects and curatorial essays for Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin; Fundacion Proa, Buenos Aires; GAMeC, Bergamo and Piano Nobile, Geneva.
