A collection of Twenty-Four time-lapse videos featuring an hourglass as the subject changing locations with each new beginning, our constant makes its way through a full days time before beginning again. The complete film lasts one hour, viewed via the peephole of a locked door. View time accelerate past, along with our considered perception of our own time and its pace.
j.frede is a Los Angeles based artist working in various mediums. Frede’s work has been shown both nationally and internationally with recent residencies in Russia and Scotland. His work is conceptually based and each body of work faithfully follows an idea from beginning to end. (j.frede.com)
