Founded in 1989 by Pangulong Guro Sultan "Shaykh" Uddin, the direct protege and first African American to be promoted to Master level under the late Grandmaster/Founder, Angel Cabales, IESA continues the tradition of teaching the art of Eskrima Serrada to the public. The headquarters is located at 3298 Lakeshore Avenue, Ste A, Oakland, CA.
