This is a fundraising benefit unlike any other. A secret back entrance to Happy Hollow through Danny's cave, 3 signature cocktails, private access to the park playgrounds after hours, 7 foodie stations by PSRT, up close animal encounters with David Jackson, complimentary photo booth by SJ Photobomb, dancing to DJ John Beaver, featuring Justin Imamura, bathtub racers, King Neptune's Lounge, and a sake bar from Yuki Sushi at the top of the Redwood Lookout.

The Pacific Fruit Express rollercoaster will be open. All your favorites from last year, plus some new surprises! Tivo’s VIP Tiki Lounge, featuring an 18 foot tall Tiki Bar and presentations of The Secret Show with Illusionist Jay Alexander. Leave the kids at home, and party with the animals after dark.

Attending this event supports all areas of the Park & Zoo growth, including exhibit renovation, the Puppet Castle Theater, Attractions and species protection. Proceeds from the Hoot & Howl benefit many program areas of the Park & Zoo. Donations above the ticket price are highly encouraged and make this a “friendraiser” and a fundraiser for San Jose's vintage park and accredited zoo.

Ways to be a SAFARI CAPTAIN:

BUSINESS SAFARI CAPTAINS: Purchase a block of eight tickets (a Safari group) for your employees for $1,500. The Hoot & Howl is a great way to team build without the hassle and expense of planning, prep and rentals. Purchase your Safari today online or send in the Safari Captain form and we can invoice your billing department. Your company name will be listed on our website and onsite signage at the Hoot & Howl as a Safari Captain.

HAPPY HOLLOW FAN SAFARI CAPTAINS: Gather your friends, neighbors, book club, coworkers or family members over 21 years of age for a fun night out! Happy Hollow is about nourishing childish behavior, so bring out your best pals and be a kid again. You will be honored as a Safari Captain on the web and on site signage. Payment can be made individually by attendees and a lump sum is not required. Purchase your ticket online and claim your Safari Captain status. You will be prompted during the online purchase process to select the number of tickets besides your own CAPTAIN ticket that you would like to purchase in the initial transaction.
