Every Valentine's Day Loft Bar and Bistro offers a very nice a la carte dinner menu. No need to commit to a four or five course meal when you can choose exactly what and how much you'd like to eat. With Valentine's Day on a Sunday this year, the Loft will be buzzing from Friday thru Sunday with romantic diners all weekend. Reservations recommended for Valentine's Day.
Arya Global cuisine specializes in Persian and Italian cooking in an elegant environment. Some of Arya's offerings include seafood, kebabs and pastas cooked to order. On Valentine's day, Arya is offering a four-course prix-fixe menu along with smooth romantic jazz and belly dancing for entertainment. $70 per person.
Chef-driven Italian restaurant Piatti in Santa Clara is getting creative for Valentine's Day with Executive Chef Brandon Stroud's mouthwatering 3-course menu. Enjoy it pre-fixe for $50 per person or a la carte. Start out with an amuse bouche of port wine poached figs and whipped goat cheese crostini, followed by a golden beet salad, potato gnocchi with lobster for the main course and a delicious dark chocolate panna cotta for dessert. Hurry to make your reservations as spots fill up quickly!
LB Steak is a modern American Steakhouse located at Santana Row. For Valentine's day, LB Steak is offering a four-course tasting menu that includes braised beef cheek ravioli and Thai spiced grilled Maine lobster. $75 per person.
Located in the Pruneyard shopping center in Campbell, Kyoto Palace is a Japanese restaurant where the chef chops, dices and tosses the food teppanyaki style right in front of diners. Kyoto Palace serves steaks, seafood and fresh sushi. For Valentine's day, Kyoto Palace will have a menu featuring 12 of its most popular items and unlimited Korbel champagne, sparkling cider or rosé (while supplies last). $35-$49.95 per person.
The menu draws inspiration from both contemporary and traditional styles of Latin American cooking to create unique dishes. For Valentine's day, Palacio will offer a tasting menu featuring a lobster ceviche shot, tiger prawns and ribeye steak. $85 per person. Palacio is offering the same special the night before and after Valentine's day for $65 per person.
If weather permits, dine under the stars on the Wine Cellar's patio and enjoy incredible views of the Santa Cruz Mountains or venture downstairs for a more intimate experience with warm, golden washed walls and candle-lit booths. Wine Cellar serves contemporary American cuisine including beef with no added antibiotics or hormones and a vegetarian diet. Chef Wayne Hashman will prepare a special five-course fixed menu for Valentine's day. Regular menu not available. $100 per person.
Chef Alex Jimenez is cooking up some unique Valentine's specials this year at Farmers Union in downtown San Jose, including pan seared scallops, mouthwatering ribeye for the main course A special chocolate marquise with chocolate mousse is on the dessert menu.
Dio Deka offers a Valentine's special four-course dinner with choices including an egg lemon soup and bone-in rib eye. Each table is decorated with rose pedals and a long-stemmed rose. There will also be live music and a memento photo for couples enjoying Valentine's Day. $125 per person
Vito's specializes in authentic Italian recipes. For Valentine's day, Vito's is turning down the lights and providing a romantic setting to pair with their prix-fixe menu which features lobster bisque and crab stuffed salmon. $125 per couple.
Alexander's Steakhouse offers a variety of steak options with elements of Asian cuisine in a stylish and contemporary environment in Cupertino. Alexander's Valentine's day special consists of a four-course tasting menu designed by executive chef Derek Biazo. The meal features seared foie gras, filet mignon and brie cheesecake. $135 per person with a optional wine pairings.
For Valentine's day, Italian restaurant Tigelleria offers a four-course prix-fixe menu. The dinner features a pork loin with a citrus rosemary reduction and a Mediterranean sea bass. $78 per person.
Morton's specializes in serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh seafood and chicken entrees. Morton's Valentine's day special includes steak and a lobster tail with drawn butter. This special is available from February 13-16, $55 per person.
For those with a particularly sweet tooth, Chocatoo offers after-dinner treats with coffee's and desserts to top off the perfect Valentine's evening. Some of the popular Valentine's treats include: red chocolate lip truffles with a white-chocolate peach ganache filling and salted caramel heart truffles.
Brandon's, as part of the Beverley Heritage Hotel, rolls out their special Valentine's Day menu for sweethearts throughout the weekend. Delectable dishes include: The "Amuse Bouche" with lobster corn dog, frisee, pickled mustard seeds and lobster remoulade, the "Subtle Flirtation" with lobster paappardelle with brandy and lobster cream, the "Boca Alegre" with champagne mint granita, the "Great Embrace" with fillet mignon roulade, pomme puree, watercress crayfish and lobster mouse, and for dessert have the "Sweet Surrender" a cupcake parfait, chiffon cake, strawberry and chocolate mousse. Once you are you and your loved one are satisfied, enjoy a stay in the Heritage with a romance package.
