San Jose has a strong Mexican-American community and a long history of commemorating Cinco de Mayo, the day celebrating the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla in the 19th century. Since then, it’s become a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.
This weekend promises plenty of fun and excitement for all ages from a Cinco de Mayo themed run to El Jardin’s Mexican fair, where adults can enjoy an extensive tequila bar. Here’s a list of some our favorite events.
