Grub Crawl - Mission SF 11/11/10

Welcome to Grub Crawl! This "Grub Crawler" ticket gets you exclusive entrance and great grub at three restaurants in the San Francisco Mission District!. Each restaurant will be showcasing food that best represents them, so all the ordering is already taken care of. The restaurants are close together, so we will be walking ("crawling") from restaurant to restaurant.

The Grub Crawl officially starts at 6pm SHARP! Meet up 15 minutes early for drinks, to sign in and to icebreak with the other Grub Crawlers. Below are the featured restaurants and the Grub Crawl time schedule:

Hog & Rocks

Oyster eaters, ham fans and liquor lovers – Hog & Rocks is San Francisco’s first ham and oyster bar. Located in the heart of the Mission District, Hog & Rocks is a casual, come-as-you-are bar and restaurant serving no-nonsense cocktails and modern bar food until 1AM every night.

Start Grub Crawl 6:00pm sharp to 7:00pm

Charanga

Charanga is best known for a fusion of various latin flavors with a hint of asian influence. The menu is drawn from many regions and specializes in Bocas(Tapas) style service. Charanga resembles many small and intimate cafes one finds scattered around coastal tourist areas of Costa Rica, Cuba, and Puerto Rico, where sexy music lolls guests into serene vacation scenes of freedom from the workday blues.

7:00 pm to 8:00pm

Specchio

From the North Beach Ristorante Gondola to a decidedly un-Italian block of Mission Street, Specchio offers a feast on everything from wild boar pappardelle and marinara pizza to pork chops with gorgonzola, all while sipping pints of Moretti or glasses of Chianti—and watching Fellini movies playing on the wall above the kitchen

This ticket includes restaurant reservations, food, taxes and tip for the three restaurants listed above. Drinks are not included in this ticket price and will have to be paid on your own.
