About
Good Karma Bikes is a new bike co-op concept for San Jose, CA.
We sell used and refurbished bicyles at low prices for children, teens, men and women. Road/Mountain/Comfort/Hybrid.
We rescue bikes from the land-fill and from other sources, tune and repair each bike. Our goal is increasing cycling in our local community by selling low-cost bicycles.
We are an IRS registered 501c3 non-profit and accept all used bicycles, parts, tools and bike-related accessories. A tax slip is glady given if you itemize.
We also have a new DIY (do-it-yourself) shop area where you can rent space and work on your bike with our high-end tools for a low hourly rate. A first for San Jose!
Our 'staff' are 100% volunteer, and we don't have set hours yet at the shop.
We have a Saturday clinic that assists homeless and very low income with bike repairs. It is first come/first served.
