Gomez Edwards Law Group, LLP was founded by  Natalie Gomez and Lauren Edwards who decided to build a law firm on the ideals of 4 pillars of strength: loyalty, integrity, hard work, and advocacy. We approach each case determined to clarify all issues for the client, formulate a strategy, and execute a plan of action.

We pride ourselves on our diligent communication with our clients throughout the duration of the case and understand that legal proceedings can be an overwhelming and emotionally draining process. We are here to listen and take the stress off of your shoulders. Family Law Mediation

When individuals are going through a divorce, legal separation or custody matter, they will often have different views of what is fair, or if children are involved, they will likely differ on what is best for the children.  Mediation is a great tool that can allow  individuals involved in a case to reach several agreements without the need for court interventions which will save money and emotional stress.  In reality, mediation will allow the individuals to make their own orders instead of having a Judge, who knows nothing about the individuals or families, make a decision for them.

Attorney Bio

Natalie Gomez

Natalie C. Gomez is an experienced lawyer who is distinctively qualified to represent clients in criminal defense and family law matters. She has provided financially efficient and high quality legal representation to all clients. Natalie is bilingual in Spanish and English and is committed to passionately advocate for her client’s interests and rights during all phases of a case in order to achieve a fair and just outcome.

Natalie completed her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2011 and was also recognized by the SCU School of Law as a Public Interest and Social Justice Law Scholar with Special Emphasis in Criminal Justice. Prior to earning her J.D., she received a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley.

Before founding Gomez Edwards Law Group, LLP with her law partner and friend, Natalie practiced criminal defense and family law at another firm located in Santa Clara. Natalie’s family law experience began in 2003, prior to graduation from undergraduate school and law school when she worked as a legal assistant and law clerk for the family law division at Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley in San Jose, CA up until admission into law school. After graduating law school, Natalie law clerked at Greenstein & McDonald in San Francisco, CA and then worked as a family law and criminal defense associate in Santa Clara, CA up until 2015. This combination of experience has allowed Natalie to supplement her skills by appearing at highly contested law and motion hearings/trials, attending depositions, attending mediations, and guiding parties to reach settlement agreements.

Natalie grew up in East San Jose, CA and loved going to Raging Waters as a kid. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, finding great restaurants for a foodie experience, and last but not least, cuddling her American Cocker Spaniel puppy, Remy (the gentle and nosy office guard pup).

Lauren Edwards

Lauren Edwards received her Bachelors of Science in Political Science from San Jose State University in 2009. She received her law degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2013. During her studies she focused on trial advocacy. She interned with the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office in Waco, Texas, as well as the Travis County Attorney’s office in Austin, Texas. Ms. Edwards has been involved with the legal profession for 7 years and has a wide range of experience in multiple practice areas.
