An institution of North Beach history. Opened in 1920. Closed in 2006.
This place is all-the-way Italian and has great tasting food. If you want a family style Italian meal for a reasonable price, Golden Spike is a worthwhile stop. (Tip: don't try to take any of the dollar bills pinned alongside the walls. They might cut off your hands or something to that effect.)
