Described as a fresh and funky shop mixing 'harlem of the west' style with original design, this jazzy boutique features clothing, accessories, and crafts made by local Bay Area and independent designers. A hot new addition to the Bay Area fashion scene since December 2003, Ghetto Flowers Boutique is owned by Letitia Ntofon, maker of Ghetto Flowers Clothing. In 2006, the shop will be relocating to its permanent location in the Village Bottoms, a developing commercial cultural district in West Oakland that will feature cafes, boutiques, bookstores, and galleries.
More than just a shop, Ghetto Flowers Boutique hosts regular workshops and events for emerging Bay Area designers and artisans. The shop also hosts the annual Film. Food. Folks. & Fashion event.
