GEOS English Academy San Francisco is part of the GEOS International Network of over 500 schools operating in over 18 countries. Our school is located on the 4th floor and 5th floor in the historic Flatiron Building which is in the convenient and exciting downtown area. GEOS SF is a great place to learn English, improve your TOEFL score, and make new friends. We provide quality language instruction in a comfortable atmosphere, offer full time and part time English as a Second Language (ESL) and iBT TOEFL Preparation classes in the heart of San Francisco.

MAIN LANGUAGE COURSES
Intensive English Course
Intensive English course can help you improve your English speaking and listening skills, learn new vocabulary, and improve your reading and writing For full-time international students. Part-time study is also available.

Introduction to TOEFL
The Introduction to TOEFL course is designed for intermediate students who are interested in preparing for the iBT TOEFL exam. This course provides ample practice in the English skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) that are necessary for understanding the requirements of the test. It prepares students to take the more advanced, TOEFL preparation course.

TOEFL Preparation Course
The TOEFL preparation course is designed to help you reach a level of competence that will allow you to achieve an advanced level of proficiency on the IBT TOEFL test. This course teaches you the skills (speaking, writing, listening, and reading) and strategies necessary for understanding the requirements of the test as well as helping to improve their English skills.

Business English Class
We offer this program in both group classes and one-to-one tutoring. This business English program is designed to help international business professionals prepare to use English in both present and future work situations. The focus of the program is business related communication skills, oral and written.

Intensive Spanish Course
This course helps students learn Spanish with a native teacher from beginner level to advanced. The course focuses on developing students speaking, reading, writing and listening skills through the communicative method.

Intensive Japanese Course
Learn Japanese with our intensive course and improve your speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. We offer levels from beginner to advanced. This course is taught by a native speaker.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
Internship Program
The GEOS internship program gives our students the opportunity to improve their English skills and to gain work experience. We provide a wide range of positions in a variety of industries such as Marketing, IT, Trade and Business. Paid positions are also provided.

Volunteer Program
GEOS English Academy, San Francisco has an exciting volunteer program whcich can give you practical experience in a variety of areas including animal care, environmental protection, and more. Find out more.

School Activities
In addition to an interesting in-class experience, our after school activities are full of fun to help practice your English skills outside the classroom with students from other classes. School trips, parties, movie day, coffee-talk, and more just for you each month - only at GEOS.

Homestay & Accommodation
The GEOS Homestay Program gives visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of American culture by sharing with their host family in everyday life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, students can participate in family activities.

Study Tours
Study Tours include English lessons and school activities. Students have English classes in the morning and activities in the afternoon. Excursions for this type of program include sightseeing, parties, and cultural activities.

7 College Pathways
GEOS San Francisco has 7 college pathway schools in the Bay Area.The agreement between GEOS and the pathway schools allows students who complete our Advanced Intensive English Course or Advanced TOEFL Course to be given priority when applying to these colleges, and a TOEFL score will NOT be needed.
