Filmmaking Workshop at the Shelton Studios

Description

Starting October 19th, the Shelton Studios will be offering a 7-week long film production class. Students will collaborate with professional filmmaker Kindrid Parker to execute a short film.

"From pre-production, through production and post, the participants explore the various elements required of filmmaking. By creating actual works of art, a dynamic immersion is put into practice that inspires a true voice."

All three stages of film production will be addressed, including the following topics:

- Screenwriting (creative writing, narrative theory, standard script formatting and pitfalls to avoid,)
- Budgeting & Scheduling
- Crew Roles
- Directing
- Lighting & Cinematography
- Sound (production and audio mixing)
- Editing and Post-Production
- And more.
