Description

"EVOLUTION" is the response of five Bay Area artists to a habitat in crisis
with recombinant imagery of war & peace, messengers & ancestors.

ELLIE BARRETT WILDER's mixed media snapshots of the collective
unconscious lift the veil of outer awareness to reveal the raw truth beneath.

GLENN HIRSCH's abstract paintings are inspired by Mayan texts which
speak of cyclical time in an ancient software code used to keep the Universe
running smoothly.

PAMELA LANZA's drawings confront the yin-yang of human
imagination facing the violent implications of its own power and transcendent
dancers embodying forgiveness and grace.

MICHAEL LEWIS explores the
paradox between ancient mythic conceptions of the world and the often
counter-intuitive facts revealed by state-of-the-art science.

NENA ST. LOUIS'
charred and wrapped sculptures stand defiant through the twin perils of
change and extinction.
