Welcome to the Enlighten Chinese School (ECS) and thank you for your interest in our institution!

ECS's educational program offers classes on Chinese language (Mandarin) and culture education using simplified Chinese character and Pin Yin (Chinese phonic system). Students gain a global perspective and obtain skills that enable them to communicate with a wide range of people, appreciate other culture, become flexible thinkers and enrich their lives. 

Enlighten offers 2 kinds of classes, CHL( Chinese as the Heritage Language) and CSL( Chinese as the Second Language). CHL is for students come from families which use Chinese as the first language at home. They have chance to communicate with family members and parents in Chinese. We offer grade Pre-K to AP (Grade 10) for CHL classes. The CSL class is for students come from families which use other language as the first language. We offer grade K to 6 for CSL classes. There're 3 quarters each school year, and 11 classes each quarter. We meet at Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm - 5:10pm. The class location is:

We mainly server the area of San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga and Cupertino. The mission of ECS is to provide outstanding second language education,  preparing children to become responsible and engaged citizens of the world.
