The Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association selects up to 35 vendors that arrive each week with fresh-picked seasonal produce, artisan breads and baked goods, freshly caught fish, grass-fed beef, locally produced cheeses, local honey and honey products, olive oils and vinegars, wine, and jams and sauces, all locally made.The Downtown San Jose Farmers' Market opens each Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on a picturesque block of San Pedro Square, at Santa Clara and San Pedro streets. The location and combination of fun, sunshine, fresh goods, lunchtime eateries lining the street and festival atmosphere attracts residents, students, downtown employees and visitors, featuring some of the best people-watching in the South Bay.
