Local community worker and photographer Abraham Menor celebrates the release of Digging Sound Collect--a book of photography focused on vinyl collectors, producers and DJs. Stemming from Menor's own love of wax, it is a passion project about a passionate pursuit. The photographs capture vinyl junkies digging through dusty crates, in the recording studio and dropping the needle at home. Every collection is unique and speaks to the personality of the subject in front of the lens. A number of selectors, including Cutso and That Girl, will be spinning at the artist reception this Saturday. The exhibit runs through Jan. 25.
