Description
Jordana Moore Saggese is assistant professor of visual studies at California College of the Arts, San Francisco and Oakland. Her research and teaching interests include critical race art history, performance art, identity politics, postcolonial theory, African diaspora theory, as well as the intersections between musical, visual, and literary practices. This is part of the San Jose Museum of Art's new series of Lunchtime Lectures. The free lectures will take place on the first Wednesday of the month from noon to 1pm through May 4. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch into the Wendel Education Center during the talk. Cafe, Too! at the Museum will also offer a selection of box lunches for purchase on lecture days. Admission to the lectures is free; regular Museum admission applies to the galleries.More Info
