About
dekko was founded in April 2002 by two hairdressers, Jill Nishimura from San Francisco and Jules Chan from United Kingdom and recently added partner and Color Specialist, Jodi Ninomiya also from San Francisco.
The original concept of a live/work loft space salon is not new to New Yorkers, but dekko is one of the first salons to be based out of a loft space in San Francisco. With lots of free street parking and easy access to both the 280 and 101 freeways, clients can conveniently 'pop in' for their fantastic haircuts and colours, leaving the salon feeling relaxed and happy.
dekko stylists have moved from SF salons such as Architects and Heroes, Posh, and Vidal Sassoon. They have been in the hair industry for up to 20 years with experience ranging from Vidal Sassoon, MTV, theatrical work, operas, and ballets.
