Dancing Sun’s mission is simple but vital: promote high-quality and contemporary dance performances that celebrate and fuse traditional Chinese and Taiwanese dance with modern American dance. It strives to honor the diversity of the Silicon Valley community by offering its audiences a rich performing arts experience that mirrors the rich history of its inspirations and challenges the community at large. It believes that by gaining a better understanding of our cultural differences as well as our immense similarities, the myriad of individuals within the community can gain more empathy, enjoyment, and strength through the power of performance, art and dance.
