Five years! This period of time, also know as a quinquennium, serves as a reminder that not all dreams are easily realized, but the ones that do endure have a chance for longevity. So it is with great joy that we here at Cukui are proud to celebrate the five-year anniversary of our San Jose Japantown location next Saturday on August 29th, 2015. Our success is a culmination of many factors and individuals who have come to represent the culture that we are continue to build today. Cukui wouldn't be where it is now without your love and support.

In celebration of five pivotal years we are releasing an exclusive collection just for this moment. We will be dropping a range of new cut-and-sew pieces, tees, and hats to the public. And, there will be a selection of throwback designs re-released for those who missed them the first time. As a special added treat we have collaborated with a fan favorite institution, Iguana's Taqueria, in creating the Cukui Kalua Carinitas Burrito! The first 100 customers* get a free sample of this delicious creation. (*With a purchase from the Cukui Anniversary Collection)

Just in case burritos aren't your thing, we have special edition anniversary posters to give away to the first 50 customers throughout the day.

This celebration could not have happened without our community's support. We thank the city of San Jose, the people of Japantown, and the global community at large for getting down with us since day one.
