City Concert Opera Orchestra is San Francisco's professional organization dedicated to presenting opera in concert format focusing on rarely-heard works. Under the leadership of music director Tom Busse, the organization presents two operas annually--a Baroque or Classical work in August on period instruments and a contemporary or mid 20th century opera in January.
