Description
It’s getting close to that time of the year when Downtown San José’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez is transformed into a two-acre holiday fantasy. This year hundreds of local organizations will show-off their tree decorating skills, as the ‘Community Trees’ program is designated for qualified non-profit organizations such pre-schools, local charities, and Scout Troops. The tree program is on a first come, first serve basis, so be sure to apply before October 29th by 3pm if you want to enter the decorating event. Other tree decoration events taking place at the same time include a ‘High School Trees’ program where local high-school clubs and art classes compete for scholarships with their uniquely decorated Christmas trees.
