The fourth installment, KraftBrew WinterBall will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Landmark Ballroom at the San Jose Woman’s Club. The event will feature tastings of more than 35 seasonal and holiday beers, many reflecting variations of bold, complex and spicy notes in aroma and flavor.
The new Liquid Bread Gastropub opened in downtown Campbell just a month ago and is on the fast track to becoming a South Bay hot spot for top-notch food and beer offerings. Liquid Bread boasts 20 rotating craft-beer taps and 70 to 80 bottled beers for in-house consumption or purchase to go. There is also a selection of fine wines and soda.

Kris Zankich didn’t want to open a restaurant; he thought owning a food truck would be more exciting. So a few months ago, he fired up Gold Rush Eatery, located in San Jose. The bright-red, cheery truck is decorated with a cartoon gold digger and offers burger and sandwich options for lunch or dinner.
Each Dishcrawl takes place within a particular city, downtown area or neighborhood, with at least four participating restaurants, all within walking distance of one another. Lee hopes that this gives diners the opportunity, not only to become more familiar with the restaurants in their community, but to become better acquainted with their community as well.

Her new food truck, Waffle Amore, steers clear of the American-diner version and instead offers waffles with the authenticity of a Belgian street vendor.
