Description
The digital projections of Japanese artist Tabaimo explore fantastical worlds, which riff on the real-world experiences of everyday citizens of Japan's urban centers. Her work, currently on display at the San Jose Museum of Art will blend well with J-pop--or Japanese pop--music. Her room-sized animations will be paired with tunes from the likes of DJ Coco and Eikos Balloons. Visitors will get the chance to make their own kawaii art, drink sake cocktails and dress up in their best cosplay. (NV)
