Andre Nickatina is an undisputed legend. The Bay's rap laureate has 18 albums to his name and decades of experience rhyming about fat blunts, bad hoes and coke deals. His raw subject matter is highlighted by his lyrical acrobatics, prolific work ethic and surprising depth. On "Ayo for Yayo," he ponders the destructive side of selling white girl to white girls. But on most tracks, Nickatina specializes in rocking hyped crowds with his brash bars laid over quintessential Bay beats. On what is perhaps his signature track, "Smoke Dope and Rap," he effortlessly flows over a slow-swinging funk beat, detailing his debaucherous career thesis.
