Ambit Theatre Company was established in 1999 to create theater that makes a difference; not only to the women it encourages as actors, directors, writers and designers but to the larger community by sponsoring fund raising performances for local non-profits already making a difference. The Rape Poems benefited San Francisco Women Against Rape. Dimly Perceived Threats to the System benefits Hamilton Family Center.
