Alexis Greenberg Photography

About

Alexis Greenberg was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland and became interested in photography at an early age. Her first images of a tire swing came in 2nd grade with a homemade pinhole camera and the process amazed her. This curiosity in photography led her to pursue courses at Glen Echo Park, Holton-Arms School and The Corcoran Gallery of Art, followed by Syracuse University. Alexis specializes in landscapes and people she encounters travelling: trips to Italy, England, Israel, California and the Caribbean have produced a variety of documentation on these areas.  Alexis has branched out in the past two years to incorporate children’s portraits, private events and weddings to her portfolio.

Weather working in the darkroom or digital computer lab, Alexis seems to be at peace creating her imagery. Alexis has worked for The Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Kreeger Museum, Discovery Galleries, Ltd and Huckleberry Fine Art. Alexis has worked as a freelance photographer and her work is shown at art galleries in Maryland, Arizona and California.

 

In June 2012, Alexis moved to Santa Rosa, California to work for Just For You- Gallery of Fine Art in Healdsburg, California. She now has her own photography studio in the Downtown Healdsburg Plaza on the second level above The Bear Republic Brewing Company.
