"Out of Oakland, California, Adeline Records began in late 1997. Gathered around a bonfire in an East Bay backyard, four young music lovers decided to have a go at starting their very own record label. Adrienne Armstrong, Billie Joe Armstrong (GREEN DAY), Lynn Thiebaud, and Jim Thiebaud (REAL SKATEBOARDS) set out to create an open environment. One that friends and fellow bands would be excited to be a part of, and confidant that they were affiliated with a label that believed in their music and worked diligently for them.
Now, several years later with many lessons learned along the way, these few friends have succeeded in putting together the record label they had talked about that night long ago around the fire. And the plan remains the same: put out good music and get it out there for everyone to enjoy..."
