To help you get out of the set routine of eating the basics—many of which are not even considered Mexican food in Mexico—we’ve come up with a list of unique, under-the-radar platters in San Jose that will forever change the way you view Mexican food. From delicious Oaxacan dishes to seafood platters from Nayarit, this is the perfect guide for those ready to adventure.
