A more recent addition to downtown Los Gatos, Centonove combines an Italian cafe with a gourmet retail shop. Their broader menu includes all kinds of Italian favorites like their wide variety of Neapolitan-style pizza, their house-made ravioli stuffed with kale and mascarpone, and linguine with seafood and a spicy marinara. For Restaurant Week they'll be offering a $35 three course meal of insalata di cavoli misti (an organic baby kale, walnut and feta salad), gnocchi bicolore (spinach and beet in a creamy leek sauce) and scampi alla paprika (shrimp sauteed in capers and brandy served over couscous).

Executive chef Hanna Pham knows her way around the South Bay. After growing up in Santa Cruz and graduating from SJSU, she opened her first restaurant, 19 Market, in downtown San Jose in 2005. Her new Vietnamese bistro in Los Gatos, Hanna, is offering both $30 and a $40 prix fixe menus. For just a taste, the $30 menu boasts a first course of springs rolls and vietnamese tacos, a second course with a choice of six options including curry prawns and mango chicken, and for dessert a tropical pudding of jackfruit and toddy palms in coconut milk.

One of Los Gatos's latest farm-to-table restaurants, Hult's offers a seasonal prix fixe menu year round at prices competitive with those during Restaurant Week. This week though they've knocked a couple bucks off and are offering "the Hult's Experience" for $35 a pop. Guests can choose from either water (seafood), land (meat), air (chicken), or earth (vegetarian). For example, the earth option consists of a first course of beets and goat cheese, a second course of carniroli and wild rice risotto and for dessert, seasonal cobbler.

This classic San Jose seafood spot is back with its new location in the heart of Willow Glen. The new place boasts some slick nautical theming, including an impressive aquarium behind the bar. Lou's $35 prix fixe menu includes citrus cajun grilled prawn skewers for starters, lobster macaroni and cheese for the main course and a vanilla milkshake for dessert.

LV Mar focuses on upscale Latin cuisine in an unpretentious atmosphere, and they're offereing a couple different options for each course on their Restaurant Week menu. A couple selections: for starters chilled avocado soup with sea scallop ceviche, a main course of petrale sole in safron butter sauce, and empanadas with sweet plantains for dessert. Their other options are worth checking out as well, as guests can also order potato dumplings and huitlacoche (the corn fungus considered a delicacy in Mexico) as a main course.

Rasam's in downtown Sunnyvale presents an Indian-fusion menu with influences from every part of the subcontinent. Their $35 prix fixe menu offers diners a selection of two appetizers from a good handful, like the toasted almond and baby spinach chaat or the paneer pepper parsley tikka. Then one can choose from five different entrees including the paneer asparagus and mushroom kadai and the lamb awadhi korma, a lamb curry cooked with cashews and pine nuts. For dessert they're offering wild berry compote, lychee chili mousee, or mango rasmalai, which are cottage cheese dumplings.

Sam's Chowder House has been cooking up seafood in Half Moon Bay since 2006, but, in addition to their fleet of food trucks around the Bay, they recently a spot in downtown Palo Alto. The Palo Alto location will be serving a $35 three course menu of spring lettuces with shaved asparagus, local rock cod and creme fraiche panna cotta with stewed strawberries.

A new beer garden in downtown Mountain View, Stein's maintains a wide variety of craft and import beers on tap, but also serves upscale American comfort food. Their $35 Restaurant week menu offers guests a choice of smoked salmon potato cakes or mac & cheese for appetizers, a veggies stew, short ribs or chicken & dumplings for entrees and cruller doughnuts, fried apple pie or a mocha ice cream sandwich for dessert.

What better place for a farm-to-table restaurant than the farm-surrounded Morgan Hill? The Good Fork is offering its crab cakes, bacon-wrapped scallops or the intriguing hydro butter letter as appetizer options on its $35 prix fixe menu. Then diners can select from bone-in short ribs, rack of pork and king salmon for entrees, followed by chocolate torte, guava sorbet or raspberry cobbler for dessert.

The Lexington House takes farm-to-table one step further by creating craft cocktails based on seasonal ingredients as well. Their $45 prix fixe menu offers two options for each course. For the first, toasted pumpkin seed crumble or chicken liver mousse; for the second pencil cobb grits or Alaskan halibut; and for dessert Italian cream cake or "dessert in a jar" with nutella, hazelnut cookie and honey.
