A San Jose man suspected of killing another man is thought to be evading capture by posing as his identical twin, police said.
Marco Paredes, 25, was killed on April 17 and police believe Mario Jesus Hernandez, 22, was the shooter. Police said Hernandez is using the ID of his twin brother, Gilbert Paul, to fly under the radar.
Both Hernandez and his brother have tattoos on their arms and chest, but the main difference in the suspect’s tattoos is he has the letter “N” in the middle of his chest.
Police said Hernandez, who is considered armed and dangerous, could be hiding anywhere from Fresno on up to San Francisco. Anyone with information about the case should call the homicide unit at 408.277.5283.
