Here’s your chance to show off everything you love about San Jose with the world. We’re looking for a Site Editor to lead our team of contributors and deliver interesting stories and perspectives from all corners of San Jose and surrounding communities.

In addition to Site Editor we’re looking for additional contributors and interns to join our team.

Site Editor position:

SanJose.com, an award-winning online city guide for San Jose and surrounding communities, is seeking a local editor to lead our editorial team. Applicants must be knowledgeable and passionate about San Jose and serving SanJose.com readers with the latest community news and events. Coverage includes events, restaurants & bars, arts, nightlife, attractions and general community news.

Duties:
-Generate article ideas and manage a small team of writers
-Write articles as needed
-Maintain events calendar and organize feature placement
-Create a weekly email newsletter
-Update social media accounts
-Coordinate with affiliate publications and our sales team

This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, paid hourly. Applicants must live in San Jose.
