Math and science enthusiasts everywhere maybe be overwhelmed with excitement just thinking about this Saturday’s special holiday, Pi Day.

Pi Day, 3.14, is the celebration of the the ratio of a circumference of a circle to its diameter. The number is never ending but this year marks the once in a lifetime when the first five digits of pi will align with the day and year in which we celebrate, 3.14.15.

With Silicon Valley being the hub for STEM careers and study, Pi Day definitely gets some recognition. The Computer History Museum has a day full of events, from enjoying pie, pizza pies and pints, to interactive activities to learn more about the history of pi and workshops for children about pi and building electronics.

Blaze Pizza is also offering a Pi Day special with pizza pies for $3.14 all day.
