USA Gymnastics and the United States Olympic Committee announced that San Jose will host the 2016 U.S. Olympic team trials for women’s gymnastics for the second consecutive year.

The competition is scheduled to take place at the SAP center on July 8 and 10, 2016. The Olympic trails for men’s gymnastics will be held in St. Louis, Mo.

According to the USA Gymnastics website, “San Jose and St. Louis knocked it out of the park with these two premier championship events in 2012,” said Steve Penny, president of USA Gymnastics. “We are confident that these two cities are the perfect setting for determining the gymnasts who will represent the United States at the 2016 Olympic Games.”

Ticketing and session times will be announced in 2015, but one can secure a seat now with a 25 percent deposit to reserve an all-session ticket package at SanJose2016.com.
