A San Jose police officer shot a man early this morning in San Jose while attempting to stop a stolen vehicle, police said.
The 31-year old man who was shot was admitted to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to San Jose police officials. The shooting happened at 12:08 a.m. near the corner of Barrington Court and McLaughlin Avenue.
A second suspect, a 40-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and was still being questioned by police at around 3 a.m. No other injuries were reported.
Police said they are investigating the shooting.
