A man who was severely injured in a rollover crash on state Highway 85 in San Jose earlier this month died from his injuries on Wednesday, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.
Lamar Clayton, a 23-year-old San Jose resident, was driving a silver sedan that collided with a BMW Mini Cooper just north of Highway 87 at about 2:40 a.m. on June 12, according to the California Highway Patrol.
He was trapped inside his car and was eventually extricated and taken to a hospital with major injuries. Clayton succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
