Mother’s Day at Donato Enoteca, Sunday, May 8
Celebrate mom all day this Sunday at Donato Enoteca with a special Mother’s Day menu available from 11:30 am to 9 pm. On the menu will be seared Piemontese filet mignon with braised fresh peas, fingerling potatoes and Nebbiolo sauce or jumbo prawns roasted in a wood burning oven with a cucumber and tomato salad. In addition to their delicious meal, moms will also receive a floral gift compliments of the restaurant. Mom will thank you!

Indulge mom with a champagne brunch buffet at Bella Mia. Enjoy menu items such as Caesar salad, assorted fruit, eggs benedict, custard French toast, slow roasted beef, garlic mashed potatoes and desserts like chocolate covered strawberries. Happy mother’s day!

Jazz, Wine and Sushi, Sunday, May 8
Spend Sunday at Byington Winery along with Michi Sushi for an afternoon in the VIP Suite and veranda. Enjoy the beautiful setting with a glass of wine, fresh hand rolled sushi and live jazz. There will be complimentary sushi rolls by Mishi for Byington Wine Club Members and $5 for 2 hand rolls of choice for non-club members. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

Sip Your Way Through Santana Row, Monday, May 9
Spend your Monday night strolling through Santana Row, tasting various wines paired with delectable dishes at participating restaurants. Winemakers on The Row is a progressive wine tasting event with acclaimed wine makers. Tickets are $40 and include a passport to the wine tasting and food pairing event. Winemakers on The Row will be held at each of the following restaurants: Amber India, Blowfish Sushi To Die For, CITRUS at Hotel Valencia, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Sino Restaurant, Straits Restaurant, Village Bistro and Wine Bar and Yankee Pier.

Wine Paired Dinner at Sent Sovi , Wednesday, May 11
Join Chef Josiah and Ben Cane of Twomey at Sent Sovi’s winemaker dinner. Sip a number of Twomey and their sister winery Silver Oak’s current releases paired with Chef Josiah’s creations. On the menu for the evening will be hiramasa tartare with black truffle vinaigrette paired with Bien Nacido Vineyard Pinot Noir, duck with dried cherries paired with Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, rack of lamb with onion marmalade paired with Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and finally for the sweet finish-Napoleon of Fourme d’Ambert paired with Napa Valley Merlot. Yum!
