Hans Larsen has been named the Director of the San Jose Department of Transportation. Larsen, a civil engineer by training, has served as Acting Director of the Department since 2009.
Upon announcing the new appointment, City Manager Debra Figone said, “Over the past sixteen months, Hans has proven his leadership capacity, demonstrating a strong management grasp of the department’s core service functions while guiding the city’s efforts on BART, high-speed rail, and the Diridon Station.”
