The San Jose area experienced a 4.1 magnitude earthquake at approximately 4:15 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey’s website. The quake’s epicenter was about 13 miles southeast of San Jose City Hall and could be felt in San Francisco.
As of this posting, the USGS reports that 441 earthquakes have occurred today in California and Nevada.
