Three local teens were arrested after going on a vandalism spree in Los Gatos last week. On November 23, a local resident reported that a group of young people had been causing havoc in the town, egging cars and smashing their windows. According to police eyewitness, the teens went on to shatter landscaping lighting outside local residences. Altogether, seven kids were involved in the vandalism, causing over $1,000 in damages.
At first, six people were arrested, but three of them, all seventeen years old, were released to their parents. The remaining three—Eric Pecher of Campbell, Morgan Castor-Thomas of San Jose, and Robert Bergschneider of Santa Clara—wee kept in custody because they are all eighteen years of age. A seventh, unnamed suspect, aged seventeen, has not yet been located.
