Bay Area ceramic artists showing their latest creations in clay

The annual Art in Clay (AIC) two-day event will showcase the works of more than 50 ceramic artists, focused on handmade, one-of-a-kind and unique art.

On display will be handmade ceramics -- from traditional to contemporary, decorative art to functional ware, sculpture, Ikebana vessels, garden art, and holiday-themed items. The public is invited to mingle with the artists and enjoy light refreshments throughout the day.

This event is one of the Bay Area's finest art and craft shows, and the exhibit is perfectly timed for selecting one-of-a-kind, artisan-made gifts for the holidays.

Admission to Art in Clay is free. Plenty of public and street parking is available, also at Walter Hayes Elementary School, 1525 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.

About the Guild…
The Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild is a non-profit association of nearly 200 artists and supporters. Membership is open to anyone age 16 or over with an interest in working with clay. The Guild welcomes professional and hobby artists, as well as those who are simply interested in developing an appreciation for the ceramic arts.

Guild activities include regular meetings, workshops, exhibits, and sales. The Guild also publishes the award-winning newsletter -- Greenware.
