16th ANNUAL ART IN CLAY SHOW

Description

Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild will celebrate the work of more than 60 local artists at the 2016 Art in Clay show, happening Saturday & Sunday, November 12-13, at the Lucie Stern Community Center in Palo Alto.

On display will be handmade ceramics -- from traditional to contemporary, funky decorative arts to functional ware including masks, sculpture, Ikebana vessels, garden arts, and even holiday-themed items. The public is invited to mingle with the artists and enjoy light refreshments throughout the day.

This event is one of the Bay Area's finest art and craft shows, and the exhibit is perfectly timed for selecting one-of-a-kind, artisan-made gifts for the holidays.

Admission to Art in Clay is free. Plenty of public and street parking is available.

About the Guild…

The Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild is a non-profit association of nearly 200 artists and supporters. Membership is open to anyone age 16 or over with an interest in working with clay. The Guild welcomes professional and hobby artists, as well as those who are simply interested in developing an appreciation for the ceramic arts.

Guild activities include regular meetings, workshops, exhibits, and sales. The Guild also publishes the award-winning newsletter -- Greenware.
