About the speaker:
Working under mentor Victor Greene, Paul Saunders led projects involving the Tomorrowland makeover of Monsanto's Adventure Thru Inner Space and the completion of Haunted Mansion. He also created drawings for the design of Blue Bayou and for the facades of the buildings in New Orleans Square. In addition to his work at Disneyland, Saunders contributed to projects at Walt’s personal home and Walt Disney World.
Later, as a project designer for Randall Duell and Associates in Santa Monica, he became head of theme park ride design and had the distinction of designing the first modern loop roller coaster for Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. Before retiring in 2103, Saunders was an independent design consultant for theme park rides, fiber optic displays, and architectural custom homes.
