On a rainy February afternoon I visited A.D.M. Cooper's grave, a small nondescript marker in Oak Hill Memorial Park. The man deserved at least a pyramid. It is certainly in contrast to his wondrous Egyptian Revival studio - long since destroyed.

He left a legacy of over a thousand paintings.
