Description
In between teaching kids to draw and running an art supply store that transforms into a gallery once a month, Roan Victor continues to create meaningful art. Working mostly with oil paints, the co-owner of The Arsenal creates works that straddle the worlds of public and private, the seen and hidden in an exhibit titled "The Last Day of August." Through lace linens and obscured faces, Victor hones in on that quiet and mysterious universe that exists in us all. The show runs during gallery hours--Wednesday through Saturday--until the end of September.
