Description
The toughest girls in the Bay Area go head-to-head in a nerdy "battle royale" style as the Silicon Valley Roller Girls face off with the rival Santa Cruz Derby Girls team. The SVRG team had its first-ever competition against the SCDG back in 2008 and has, since, sparked the local roller-derby craze. Top it off with a nerd costume contest, WiiU and nerd trivia competition, and the result is a spirited "Revenge of the Nerds" night for the audience and the two roller derby teams.All of the games will provide a fun, loud atmosphere with a lot of energy. Don't miss out on the exciting bouts this season has in store and bring your signs, screams and excitement to the arena.
SVRG is a non-profit organization run by a five-member board of directors and has been around since 2007.
