Every week, the South Bay hip-hop showcase manages to pull in some big-time talent; last week saw Wu-Tang Clan’s Killah Priest and Sunspot Jonz of Living Legends light up the stage. Tonight’s installment will be just as impressive, as half of the Cali Agents’ duo, Planet Asia, will show the up-and-comers how it’s done. The group’s newest album, Fire & Ice, is already a hit on the underground scene; with hard-edged lyrics and street-wise vigor, it’s easy to see why. Also hitting the Showcase is Fresno hip-hop/neosoul man Prolifical, Bay Area rappers Bash Bros. and turntablist Tape Masta Steph.More Info
