Description
One Direction is a British pop boy band, which consists of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson. All of the members auditioned for the X Factor's 7th season, but per suggestion of a guest judge, decided to form together to create a band. The name "One Direction," was Styles' idea and eventually it led them into stardom, taking third place in the show, and signing a 2 million record deal with Simon Cowell's record company Syco Records. The band released its first album, "Up All Night," in 2011 and since then have had over ten singles, including "Gotta Be You," and the fan favorite, "What Makes You Beautiful."
