Description

Don't be deceived by the familiar title. This will not be a stage adaptation of the 1947 Natalie Wood movie. You can stream that one any old time. Instead, prepare yourself for a live radio play. Think A Prairie Home Companion--with its voice actors and sound-effects man. Like Garrison Keillor's beloved show, the Tabard Theatre Company has assembled a small cast to play a variety of different characters. Expect Kris Kringle to deliver the true meaning of Christmas to the biggest skeptics and believers alike. Before each performance there will be a hands-on demonstration on the craft of making sound effects. (JE)
